 | IT SUPPORT ANALYST / SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOROur client a leading support services organisation
Key responsibilities : Duties include
• Working as part of a small team (5); performing general systems administration and maintenance of central infrastructure hardware and software platforms as well as other more specialised systems, such as routing and switching.
This will involve working with a range of operating systems based on both Microsoft Windows and some Linux technologies (Firewall).
• Knowledge & practical experience of installing and administering Windows Operating systems including Windows XP, must have been gained in a service environment.
• Knowledge & practical experience of installing and administering Windows 2003 servers must have been gained in a service environment.
• Knowledge & practical experience of Active Directory must have been gained in a service environment.
• Knowledge & practical experience of security groups, NTFS permissions, Share permissions, and distribution lists.
• Knowledge & practical experience of Exchange Server 2003 including Exchange Account administration (mail forwards, Send As rights, mailbox permissions)
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts of Incident Management and Problem Management, Change Management and escalation.
